Definitions
Excursion - The product sold and "delivered" on this web site (www.shoreadventures.com). Also known as an "Adventure" or a "Trip".
Excursion Operator - The merchant who operates one or more of the Excursions offered on this web site.
Booking - The process of scheduling an Excursion on a date and time and agreed price (cost).
Booking Confirmation - The process of confirming a scheduled Booking with an Excursion Operator.
Purchaser - A person who has Booked an Excurion on www.shoreadventures.com, whether or not their Booking has been confirmed.
Customer - Any person who has entered any information onto www.shoreadventures.com, has become a member, has viewed their personal My Adventures page, or has become a Purchaser.
Privacy Policy
LUDOT, Corp./Shore Adventures™ respects Customer privacy. LUDOT, Corp./Shore Adventures™ will not discuss or othewise disclose any personal information, without the Customer's prior knowledge and consent, to any outside party. This includes the details of any Purchaser’s travel reservations except as necessary to process a Purchaser’s Booking Confirmation and reservation. LUDOT, Corp./Shore Adventures, will sometimes request certain personal information from our Customers for the purpose of providing necessary services. LUDOT, Corp./Shore Adventures will sometimes notify Customers by email, mail or phone about new products, offerings, or policy changes. LUDOT, Corp./Shore Adventures™ Website also logs, addresses and catalogs traffic throughout the site for system administration purposes only.
Security Policy
LUDOT, Corp./Shore Adventures™ uses and will continue to use all reasonable measures to safeguard the security and privacy of its Customers. LUDOT, Corp./Shore Adventures™ has installed Internet and server technologies in order to provide security on all data transmitted via the Internet and LUDOT,Corp./Shore Adventures™ website, www.shoreadventures.com.
Refund / Cancellation Policy
LUDOT, Corp./Shore Adventures™ will refund 100% of a purchase up to 30 days prior to the Excursion date and will refund 80% of a purchase up to 7 days prior to the Excursion date, if the Purchaser cancels their Booking for any reason. There will be no refund issued within 7 days of the Excursion date if the Purchaser cancels their Booking for any reason other than set forth below:
A. LUDOT, Corp./Shore Adventures™ will refund 100% of the purchase if the Purchaser could not meet their scheduled Excursion / pick-up time because their cruise ship arrived late to the local pier or because the cruise ship changed its itinerary and did not reach the scheduled port of call on the scheduled date and/or time or because conditions make it impossible for the ship to dock and disembark passengers in a timely manner. In the case of a late arrival by the cruise ship, the Purchaser must attempt to meet or contact the Operator of the Excursion in case the Operator has adjusted their departure schedules based on cruise ship arrivals. (LUDOT, Corp./Shore Adventures™ will not refund for a late arrival of a cruise ship if the Purchaser did not arrive at the arranged meeting place and if the Excursion Operator was in fact waiting for the Purchaser, would have rescheduled the Excursion, and would have returned the Purchaser to the cruise ship before its departure time.) For refunds due to cruise ship issues, the passenger must notify LUDOT,Corp./Shore Adventures™ in writing within 12 days after the Excursion date. Emails and faxes will be accepted.
B. LUDOT, Corp./Shore Adventures™ will refund 100% of the purchase if the Purchaser could not meet their scheduled Excursion / pick-up time because their air flight arrived late.
C. LUDOT, Corp./Shore Adventures™ will refund 100% of the purchase if the Excursion Operator cancels due to equipment or weather problems or for any other reason. For refunds due to Excursion Operator issues, the passenger must notify LUDOT, Corp./ Shore Adventures™ in writing within 12 days after the Excursion date. Emails and faxes will be accepted.
For Charters and Large Group Bookings, LUDOT Shore Adventures will refund 100% of the purchase only if the Purchaser cancels the Charter or Large Group Booking within 3 days of Booking and if the Booking Date is at least 30 days prior to the Date of the Excursion. There will be no refunds granted after 3 days from Booking or within 30 days of the Excursion Date except as stated in A. B. & C. above.
Please note: Your cruise ship and its employees and agents do not have the authority to cancel LUDOT, Corp./Shore Adventures™ arranged Excursions / vouchers.
Delivery Policy
Upon Purchaser Booking, LUDOT, Corp./Shore Adventures™ will attempt to confirm the date, time and cost of each Excursion purchased with the appropriate Excursion Operator(s) within 48 hours after booking. If any Excursion cannot be confirmed, the Purchaser will be notified by email of the Booking denial. Only after the Booking is confirmed will the Purchaser's credit card be charged. At that time, the Purchaser will recieve an email of the Confirmation and directions on how to print their vouchers. Vouchers for Booked Excursions are also available through their member pages (My Adventures). Purchasers must print their vouchers in order to identify themselves with the Excursion Operator at the scheduled pick-up location.
Terms of Service
Stipulations
LUDOT, Corp./Shore Adventures™ is not responsible for scheduling issues caused by booking errors of the Customer or his/her agent. Customers or agents are required to accurately check the itineraries of cruise ships and airline flights with that of the listed Excursion times prior to Booking. Excursions are not considered Booked until the Purchaser agrees to these stipulations and verifies the listed date, time and price for each excursion, nor are the Bookings confirmed until the Excursion Operator confirms the Booking.
The Purchaser's credit card is charged immediately after the Excursion Operator confirms the Booked Excursion.
LUDOT, Corp./Shore Adventures™ is not responsible for agents who missrepresent Customers in any way.
LUDOT, Corp./Shore Adventures™ cannot guarantee accurate Excursion information on its web site (www.shoreadventures.com). LUDOT, Corp./Shore Adventures™ is not responsible for recent changes to information, itineraries and prices of its Excursions caused by its Excursion Operators. After Purchaser Booking, LUDOT, Corp./Shore Adventures™ will confirm the accuracy of the published Excursion information, itineraries and prices. The Purchaser will be notified of date, time or itinerary changes prior to Booking Confirmation. LUDOT, Corp./Shore Adventures™ is not responsible for itinerary modifications caused by the Excursion Operator after the Booking Confirmation.
Liability for Loss or Injury
LUDOT, Corp./Shore Adventures™ is not liable for Customer injury or loss of life before, during or after the Customer's vacation. LUDOT, Corp./Shore Adventures™ is a Booking agent for certain Excursions offered by Excursion Operators. Customers acknowledge, understand and agree that as a condition of LUDOT, Corp./Shore Adventures™ accepting a Booking from the Customer, processing a Booking Confirmation, and processing payments, LUDOT, Corp./Shore Adventures™; shall not be liable for any loss or injury incurred by the Customer. LUDOT, Corp./Shore Adventures™ is responsible for refunds as indicated in this agreement.
LUDOT, Corp./Shore Adventures™ reserves the right to change any information on its web site (www.shoreadventures.com), including Excursion itineraries, dates, times, prices, and text. Sometimes LUDOT, Corp./Shore Adventures™ or its Excursion Operators must make last minute changes to itineraries, dates, times, prices and information to any Excursion. The Customer will be notified if any changes will impact their Booking time, date or price.
Trip cancellation insurance is available and is highly recommended. If the Purchaser already carries this type of insurance, he is directed to contact the insurance company to add in the coverage of these Excursions.
In order to purchase, buy, reserve, or Book any product (Excursion) on www.shoreadventures.com, the Customer submits to have read this Policy Agreement, including all of its stipulations, and agrees with it.
